Viking of Norway
Knit with attitude now stock two of the gorgeous Viking of Norway yarns, pure MILK fiber and Eco-Alpaca
pure MILK fiber is produced by pure milk. For ages people have taken baths in milk to achieve beautiful skin. It is true, yarn made from milk is good for you because it gives proteins that nourish your skin. Viking pure MILK fiber is a certified organic product.
Milk fibre has the following qualities:
- - it is antiseptic.
- - it is resistant to mites and mould.
- - it keeps dry and keeps you warm, like wool.
- - it is soft and has a beautiful sheen, and feels airy and lightweight against the skin.
Viking Eco-Alpaca is a wonderful soft yarn made by organic Alpaca wool. Alpacas produce one of the world’s finest and most luxurious natural fibers. The Alpaca got about 22 base colours, which again consist of varieties that equal about 200 different shades. This yarn has not been dyed. Alpaca fibre is stronger than sheep’s wool, and is therefore suitable for all types of projects, especially for those that are meant to keep you warm and comfy.
You will find pattern collections for both the pure MILK fiber and the Eco-Alpaca in the "Books and patterns" section of Knit with attitude.
