Mango Moon Yarns
"At Mango Moon, we think that knitting should be fun, and that we should try to leave the world a little better than we found it. We work with the Nepali Women's Empowerment Group and a spinners' co-op in Indonesia to bring you yarns that are colourful and fun, and that help improve the lives of the artisans who spin it."
Mango Moon supports the organisation N-WEG to help women who have been rescued from abusive situations. The women who come to the shelter are able to use their spinning and knitting skills to rebuild their lives, while continuing to care for their children. N-WEG provides a safe shelter, health care, education and the dignity of financial independence.
