Excelana

Excelana is an exciting collaboration between Susan Crawford, renowned vintage knitwear designer and publisher, and John Arbon’s Fibre Harvest, bringing you a traditional British vintage knitting yarn evoking the spirit of the 1950s. Excelana is a 100% British Breeds Yarn, processed and spun within the borders of North Devon.

Fibre Harvest is concerned about meeting the environmental challenges of textile production through the use of locally produced fibres processed at Coldharbour Mill using a renovated water wheel to power its spinning frames.

Excelana is available in Susan's own carefully chosen colour palette of eight, complementary, vintage inspired shades, recreating classic wools of the 1930s-1950s.
