Knitting Classes
If you'd like to arrange an Absolute Novice or Intrigued Intermediate course for you and your friends, please send me a note using the contact form on this site. I also do one-on-one sessions in the shop at £15 per hour.
To make sure everyone gets the most out of their course I’ve limited the number of participants to eight for each course.
I'm also available for keeping talks about knitting, alternative fibres, trends and eco-friendly knitting.

Knitting in the round

Resources, where do I go for help and how do I progress.
Materials: The idea for the intermediate workshop is for you to choose and bring to the course your own project to complete. Since we are all at different levels it is important that you find your ”perfect” project, and I’ll help you work through and to complete it. It can be a hat, a cowl, gloves or even a flattering summer top. The only requirements I’ve set for this workshop is that you know the basics: Cast on, cast off, knit and purl, so you might want to choose a pattern that introduces a technique you haven’t done before.
The aim of this workshop is to learn how to read a pattern properly, where to look for resources, and to find the confidence in trying out new and exciting projects on your own.
